Icheon Baeksa Corni Festival

Every April, this festival is held in Sansuyu village, Baeksamyeon.

Every early April, Icheon Corni Festival marks the beginning of Spring. Baeksamyeon, the festival site, is populated with many natural corni trees over 100 years old. A wide range of the area including Songmalri, Gyeongsari, Doripri and Mt. Wonjeok, is beautifully decorated with bring yellow flowers during the spring and colorful red fruits during the autumn. Flowers bloom from late in March to its peak, around 10th April. Icheon City and Baeksa Corny Promotion Commission hold the festival with various events during this time. Before and after the festival, lots of photographers and amateur painters gather to capture this moment of the beauty.

Every April or May, this festival is held in Icheon Seolbong Park and Icheon Ceramic village.

Icheon Ceramic Festival is a famous festival as you can enjoy various pottery arts and traditional cultures of other countries. Every October, this festival is held in Seolbong Park. There are many attractions and dishes.

This Festival is held in harvest season in every year to promote the superiority of Icheon rice which is Symbol and representative product of Icheon city. Lots of traditional cultural experiences are set such as making Meongseok, straw rope, straw shoes and so on. There are theme zones for example Agriculture zone, Fairy tale zone, Good harvest zone, Play zone, Pray zone, Cooked rice cafe, New rice street, New rice marketplace, Tavern street. Also various attractions including harvest festival, straw art experience, rice cooking contest, A-frame with straw bag. Traditional agriculture of old styled threshing, straw thatch, and weaving the cover of a roof-ridge is reappeared in addition. Moreover, people can buy rice polished by household polisher and taste new cooked rice from the iron pot on the spot.

Icheon Janghowon Peach Festival

Every middle of September, this festival is held in Cheongmicheon, Janghowon.

At first, it was a small festival within the local group of peach farmers in Jinamri, Janghowon, Icheon. However, this becomes an independent local festival as all the events and attractions have become known to many people. Every September, the festival is held during the harvest season, with lots of visitors across the country. The festival includes various events such as direct sales of the peaches, peach shows, harvesting peaches, singing competitions and more.
